EFQM Excellence Model

Support Group Consulting has significant experience in facilitating organisations to develop and implement approaches to using the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model. These approaches include Self Assessment and Benchmarking.

There is growing use of this model in all sectors, supported by the British Quality Foundation (BQF). The UK Cabinet Office, in its Benchmarking Project, has identified the Model as an ideal basis to measure performance and build Continuous Improvement. The Model is now enjoying increasingly wide use in public sector bodies of all kinds.

The model forms an excellent basis for an organisation to score itself against an internationally agreed Standard, to identify its own strengths and areas for improvement and to measure progress over time both internally and against 'best of class'.

The EFQM Excellence Model forms the basis of the European Quality Award, the UK Quality Award and various Regional Quality Awards.
